The FRIENDS OF THE WISSAHICKON VALLEY PUBLIC LIBRARY was organized in 1989 for the purpose of establishing a quality library for the community. The FRIENDS is a group of curious people, families of lifelong learners, readers, writers, researchers and browsers. The FRIENDS endeavor to support the library staff in all capacities and promote excellence in library services.

Benefits of Membership With your membership, you'll receive the FRIENDS' newsletter with announcements of library programs and our used book/video sales. Members are given the first chance to purchase books at the Friday evening opening sale night. Best of all, you will have the year-round satisfaction that your membership enhances our library services for the entire community.
