Altered Book Art Workshop - make a treasure chest from an old book!
Artist Sharon Pachler will lead participants in this unique art project.
An altered book is a form of mixed media artwork that changes a book from its original form into a different form, altering its appearance and/or meaning. There are so many unique pieces one can make!
At this workshop, we will turn an existing book (one that is a bit damaged and would have been withdrawn or not re-sellable) into a treasure chest.
The workshop is primarily geared for adults and older children, but we encourage families to participate too. One book per group.
