Rescheduled: Learn About Whitpain’s Sustainable Property Program – Now on December 2
Are you curious about the lovely Sustainable Property signs popping up in yards around Whitpain?
Or interested in connecting with neighbors to explore ways to make our properties more environmentally sustainable?
Good news! Our beekeeping program with local beekeeper Bruce Cooper Gill has been rescheduled and will now take place on Wednesday, November 13th at 10:00 AM at the Blue Bell Library.
Discover how kitchens and dining spaces evolved from the multi-purpose heart of the colonial home into the gathering places we know today. This program explores 18th and early 19th century cooking and dining traditions through five period rooms from the DAR Museum, including a kitchen, tavern and three unique dining spaces.
Presented by Liz Bauer from the DAR Museum
