Based on her book, "When the Declaration of Independence Was News", this engaging talk explores how the Declaration of Independence was shared, circulated, and received by people in 1776.

Invasive species are rapidly changing the look and health of our local landscapes—and some of the biggest threats are hiding right in our shade trees and understory. Join us for an informative program focused on the invasive plants and pests impacting Whitpain Township, including Callery Pear, Lesser Celandine, Multiflora Rose, English Ivy, Emerald Ash Borer, Brown Marmorated Stink Bug, Norway Maple, Japanese Stiltgrass, Burning Bush, Japanese Knotweed, Phragmites, and Shrub Honeysuckle.
