Join our new Memoir Writers Group for Adults

Tuesdays at 1 PM online via Zoom

REGISTER: wewritememoir.eventbrite.com

Capitalizing on the momentum of the library's recent memoir workshop, we’re forming a memoir writers’ group. We’re looking for a few more honest, earnest, courageous folks who are working on telling their unique stories in writing and want to give and get support from fellow memoir writers!

We’d also be interested in hearing from anyone with professional writing and editing experience - who might be willing to volunteer their services for critique and feedback.

Ready to jump in?  Register at wewritememoir.eventbrite.com  For now, we’ll start with a group of 12!

We hope to continue monthly on the 2nd Tuesday at 1 PM. Any questions? Email Debbie at dslavutsky@wvpl.org.

Ladies of History: Alice Paul

Wednesday, June 2, 2021 - 6:30pm
Event location:

The fabulously talented Alisa Dupuy (Female Spies of WWII) returns to Wissahickon Library to present another engaging theatrical performance from her Ladies of History repertoire.

Through performance, Alisa will bring to life the story of a woman who made a difference in U.S. history, suffragette Alice Paul.

Alice Stokes Paul was an American Quaker, suffragist, feminist, and women's rights activist, and one of the main leaders and strategists of the campaign for the Nineteenth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution.

This is a free program on Zoom. Register at https://alice-paul.eventbrite.com
