Our Wi-Fi Hotspots provide internet access via the T-Mobile network.
Hotspot Lending Features
- Mobile hotspots are available at both Blue Bell and Ambler branches
- May be borrowed for 14 days
- May be borrowed by WVPL Library card holders only*
- Borrowers must be at least 18 years old
- One (1) hotspot loan per household
- *Want to borrow a WiFi Hotspot but don't have a WVPL Library card? Hotspots are also available from other area libraries, so ask your home library.

Loan period: 14 days Renewals: 0 Replacement cost: $75.00
BORROWING TERMS:
- One (1) hotspot loan per household.
- Mobile WiFi Hotspots cannot be placed on hold.
- Borrowers must have a WVPL library card.
- Borrower must be 18 years of age or older.
- Present library card or form of identification at time of checkout.
- Patron must be in good standing and have no more than $30 of outstanding account charges.
- ALL BORROWERS ARE REQUIRED TO READ & SIGN THIS AGREEMENT EVERY TIME A HOTSPOT IS CHECKED OUT TO THEIR ACCOUNT.
- Upon return, the borrower/household must wait a minimum of 24 hours before checking out a hotspot again.
RETURNS:
- Any missing or damaged pieces will result in charges to the borrower’s account.
- The Mobile Hotspot Kit must be returned to the library from which it was borrowed.
- Upon return, the borrower/household must wait a minimum of 24 hours before checking out a hotspot again.
- Hand the Mobile Hotspot Kit directly to library staff – DO NOT put it in the Book Return.

HOTSPOT DEVICE SETTINGS AND SOFTWARE CANNOT BE ALTERED
Overdue Mobile Hotspots will be deactivated.
Please handle device with care, it is fragile. Out of courtesy to fellow patrons, please return the device fully charged. By checking out this Mobile Hotspot the patron is assuming responsibility for any damage, loss, or theft of the device while it is checked out. In the event of loss, theft, or damage of/to the device, the patron is responsible for the entire replacement cost of the device and its accessories for a total of $75.00. For individual items lost or damaged, the replacement costs listed above will be charged.
