Creative Writing Workshop (For Kids)

Wednesday, March 11, 2020 - 4:00pm to 5:00pm
Event location:
Blue Bell

Learn creative writing with author, Eric Bell!

This is a 4-week workshop for kids in grades 5-8, happening on March 4, 11, 18, 25  from 4:00pm-5:00pm.

Eric Bell is a writer of middle grade books. His two novels, Alan Cole Is Not a Coward and Alan Cole Doesn't Dance, are about a gay seventh grade boy and his struggles with coming out, bullies, crushes, and self-acceptance. (You can check them out at the library!) When he's not at Big Blue Marble or writing, Eric can be found teaching writing classes and workshops around the Philadelphia area. He also performs in local improv group LCR Improv. Eric is happy to talk books to anyone; his main area of specialization is (of course) children's books.
